Airtel is increasing the price of its cheapest broadband plan by Rs 90. Airtel has confirmed that the recently launched Rs 499 plan will now cost Rs 589 and will offer similar set of benefits as before to its users.

When we checked, the Rs 499 plan is still showing in the My Airtel app and in fact, the changes are not even showing on the official Airtel website as of now. However, we can expect the changes to reflect soon on both app and the website.
For those unaware, Airtel offers broadband plans with up to 1Gbps speed that include a total of five plans — Rs 799, Rs 999, Rs 1,499 and Rs 3,999. The Rs 799 plan offers 100mbps speed with unlimted data and calling, while the Rs 999 plan offers 200mbps speed with unlimited data and calling. The Rs 1,499 and Rs 3,999 offers 300mbps and 1Gbps speed respectively.
