After the iPhone 12 series launch, rival Samsung is now gearing up to launch its next flagship series– Galaxy S21– to take on the new iPhones. Samsung may be launching the Galaxy S21 a bit earlier this time than its usual launch time frame of February every year. While there is no official confirmation yet, renders and leaks of Galaxy S21 series have started to pop-out.
As per a render video posted by OnLeaks, the Galaxy S21 will feature a punch hole display or Infinity-O display and will house a quad camera setup at the back. The camera module protrudes like the S20 Ultra. The device may have a glossy finish. The ports and buttons are in its usual positions. The USB Type-C, speaker grille and mic at the bottom, the volume and power buttons on the right side. The sides of the display are slightly curved.

As far as hardware is concerned, Samsung will most likely use the flagship Snapdragon chipset with more RAM and storage options. In terms of software, the features are expected to be similar to the ones found on the new Galaxy Note 20 series.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 series phones are said to have already entered mass production and could launch in January next year. The Samsung Galaxy S21 may have a 6.2-inch display for the standard model. Another report by Android Central reveals that three Galaxy S smartphones are expected to launch in January. The company is expected to launch a standard version, a Plus version and an Ultra version.
The Ultra variant of Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to come with an S-Pen. However, the smartphone will not have a dedicated slot for the S-Pen. The camera bump on the Ultra variant looks twice larger in comparison to the standard model. It is also said that the Ultra variant of the smartphone will include a wide and ultra-wide lens plus a telephoto or periscope lens. The flash will be included in the camera bump of the Ultra variant.
