Last week, the Indian Government banned PUBG Mobile along with 118 other Chinese apps in the country. After the ban, millions of Indian PUBG Mobile fans were asking PUBG Corporation, the creator of the PUBG franchise, to follow the footsteps of Activision and cut all ties with Tencent Games.

Well, it looks like PUBG Corp has finally heard the cries of the Indian gaming community. That’s because the game developer is finally taking steps to bring back PUBG Mobile in India.

Recently, the creator of PUBG Mobile released an official statement addressing the ban and confirmed that they will take all the publishing responsibilities of PUBG Mobile from the hands of Tencent Games.

According to the statement, PUBG Corporation fully agrees with the measures taken by the Indian Government. That’s because, for the company, the security of players is also a top priority. Moreover, the developer also confirmed that they are working hand-in-hand with the Indian Government to bring back PUBG Mobile in India.

Interestingly, to comply with Indian Laws and Regulation, PUBG Corporation has decided to take over all the publishing rights of PUBG Mobile within India.

“In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India. Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country,” said PUBG Corporation.

By doing that, PUBG Corporation wants to ensure a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans in India.

Moreover, besides releasing regular updates for the game, the Korean developer is also committed to organizing local eSports events to engage with the Indian gaming community.
