NEW DELHI: Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to showcase new products at the upcoming tech show IFA 2020 in Berlin. The company has not yet officially confirmed as to what it will launch at the event but the teaser shared confirmed that we will get to witness the launch of two tablets and one smartwatch from Honor.
It is expected that the company might launch the Honor Pad 6 and Honor Pad X6 at the event. Along with the two Android tablets, the company will launch the Honor Watch GS Pro.
The two tablets which Honor will launch the IFA 2020, are already selling in China. The Honor 6 comes with a 10.4-inch QXGA display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution. While the X6 features a 9.7-inch WXGA display with 1280×800 pixel resolution. The devices run Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own Magic UI 3.1.
Both the Android tablets are powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 710A processor with Mali G51 GPU. The duo offer 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The devices sport with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera for video calling. Both the Honor ViewPad 6 and Honor ViewPad X6 are backed by a 5100mAh battery.
Apart from the above-mentioned products, the company will also unveil the Magicbook laptops powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4000 CPUs.
Meanwhile, Huawei is expected to unveil its flagship processor — Kirin 100 at IFA 2020 in Berlin. The latest processor of the company will power its flagship smartphones such as Huawei Mate 30 series, Huawei P40 series, Honor 30 series, and others. Rumours also suggest that the company will launch the chipset in China on September 5. It is said that the chipset will compete against the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor.
