NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Huawei recently launched the MateBook X 2020 laptop. At the same launch event, the company also launched the Freelace Pro wireless earphones. The device comes in Black, White, and Green colour options and is priced at 599 yuan (Rs 6,500). Customers will be able to purchase the earphones starting August 26.
The Huawei Freelace Pro comes with a 14mm dynamic driver unit and their ergonomic design offers a comfortable fit. The earphones come with a built-in Hall magnetic sensor that can detect whether the device is in use or not.
The earphones have an IPX5 rating which makes the device water-resistant. Huawei Freelace Pro offers Bluetooth 5.0 and they come with dual active noise reduction and 2 microphones for call noise reduction. Users can perform various functions by touching the left earbud.
The earphones promise to offer 150mAh battery with 24 hours of playback without active noise cancellation, 16 hours with active noise cancellation. The company also claims that with just 5 minutes of charge the earphones can offer 5 hours of music playback.
Recently, Huawei launched the MateBook X 2020 laptop in China. The laptop is powered by a 1.6GHz 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor and 1.8Ghz 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel UHD Graphics. The laptop packs 8GB/16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD space. It comes with a 13-inch LTPS display with 3000×2000 pixel resolution and it runs Windows 10 Home operating system.
The Huawei MateBook X 2020 is backed by a 42wh battery. The laptop comes with a touch-sensitive touchpad which also has Huawei’s sharing feature built for multi-screen collaboration.
