As per the tweet, Reels will now allow users to save audio, share audio and browse audio.
The ‘save audio’ feature will allow users to save sounds to create whenever users want. The ‘share audio pages’ will share all the Reels that use a specific piece of audio over Direct Messages (DMs) and the ‘audio browser’ feature will allow users to search through new sections such as ‘For You’ and ‘Trending.”

These features are expected to be rolled out on both Android and iOS to all Reels users globally.
Just last month, the photo-sharing app added three other features to Reels. Firstly, the company expanded the time limit of Reels from 15 to 30 seconds. Secondly, it allowed users to extend the timer to 10 seconds when recording and also enable them to trim and delete any clip.
To recall, Instagram launched Reels in India in July first and then in the US in August.
Instagram users can create Reels from the bottom of the Instagram camera where there are multiple editing tools on the left side of the screen. These include audio, AR effects, timer and countdown, align and speeds.
