Xiaomi has already announced that it will launch the new smartphone Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in India on October 15. So, it is possible that the company might also launch the true wireless earbuds at the same event.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The device comes with dual microphones for noise cancellation and voice control.
The earbuds come with the same 14.2mm drivers just like the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 but they only come with AAC codec and not the LDHC Hi-Res audio codec. The device offers touch controls through which users can control the volume and also change tracks.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic also comes with an infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection. This means that the earbuds will automatically pause the song when they are removed from the ears. They come with a semi-in-ear design that easily fits in the ear canal and prevents them from falling down.
The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic weighs 4.7 grams and promises to offer 7 hours of battery backup on a single charge and 20 hours along with the case. They come with a USB Type-C charging case which charges completely in 1.5 hours.
