How to use the PiP mode in iOS14

To use this feature, open any video app or website that supports PiP mode.

Choose a video and start playing it

Once the video starts playing swipe up from the bottom on iPhone without Home button or press the Home button

The video will automatically start playing over the top of your home screen

You can move around the popup window anywhere you want. IOS14 also allows users to minimize it temporarily by flicking it towards the edge of the screen while keeping the video playing in the background.

Additionally, you can also change the size of the popup window using pinch in and out feature. Double tapping on the popup windows opens up the app and starts playing the video on full screen. To close the picture-in-picture window simply tap on the ‘X’ button.
