Following its Ban, PUBG mobile was far from the Indian market. The government reported that the app is involved in operations that are harmful to the nation’s sovereignty and dignity, protection and security.

The game is not available on either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The game does not get a port allocation on the server, which makes it unplayable, even though you have it and are using an Indian ISP to connect.

But PUBG Corporation is currently in talks to carry PUBG Mobile back to India with telecoms giant Reliance Jio. They are working to fulfil the agreement on how to build several components of this agreement and how to distribute the revenues. If all ends well, Jio will be looking after the distribution of PUBG Mobile in the region.

Jio and PUBG are currently in negotiations to bring the game back to India. PUBG is said to have long-term plans for the game in India and is finding a local partner for it. For the distribution of PUBG Mobile in India, PUBG has previously tied with Tencent Games of China.

In addition , the report claimed that PUBG and Jio are currently discussing revenues and how they should be divided. At present, the words revolve around a paradigm of 50:50, which is not yet confirmed.

If all ends well, Jio will be looking after the distribution of PUBG Mobile in the region. However, given that localization is one of the conditions needed in the recent ban, it seems that PUBG Mobile is heading in the right direction. However, these comments suggest that the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India may not be as immediate as fans of the game may want it to be.
