Realme has expanded its smart TV product portfolio with the launch of Realme SLED 4K smart TV in India. The TV comes with a 45-inch screen with thin bezels on side meuring 9.5mm and has a screen to body ratio of 94.6%. The TV is claimed to be the world’s first TV with SLED 4K display.
Price and availability
It is priced at Rs 42,999 and will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, Realme.com and offline retail stores. The Tv will go on sale on October 16. As an introductory offer, the TV can be purchased at Rs 37,999.
Specs
Realme 4K SLED smart TV has a 55-inch UHD display. The SLED display technology is said to offer wide-colour gamut and eye-care with low blue light. It has been co-developed by Realme and John Rooymans, Chief Scientist of SPD Technology (Spectral Power Distribution). The TV is equipped with a chroma boost picture engine to offer adequate brightness levels and contrast.
It offers seven display modes- Standard, Game, Sport, Vivid, Movie, User and Saving mode. It is TUV Rhineland Low Blue Light certified. The newly launched TV is powered by a 64 bit quad-core MediaTek processor with 16GB internal storage.
For sound output, the TV features four speakers placed at the bottom edge. It offers a total output of 24watt speakers with Dolby Audio support. Realme 4K SLED Smart TV is an Android TV and comes with more than 5,000 applications support. It runs on Android 10 operating system and has built-in support for Google Assistant for hands-free control.
Another feature of the newly launched TV is the chromecast built-in to stream content directly from the phone. It can also be used to control smart home AIoT devices like smart speakers and smart plugs. For wired connectivity, it comes with 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, a headphone jack and a mainstream port. The TV remote features three dedicated hotkeys for YouTube, Netflix and Prime video.
