Smartphone brand Realme is set to expand its C series of phones with the launch of Realme C12 and Realme C15. The handsets will be unveiled via an online event on August 18 at 12:30 pm. Sending out media invites, the company has announced that the digital launch will be live streamed on its official social media platforms that include Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
Not much is known about the upcoming phones. As revealed by the company, both Realme C12 and Realme C15 will be entry-level phones. The duo will be backed by 6000mAh battery.
In another news, Realme C15 was recently spotted on the support page of Realme India website. As per the listing, the smartphone may come equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ display having 720×1600 pixel resolution. The display may come with a mini drop notch and may come with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ on top.
The upcoming phone could be backed by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It is likely that the phone may have two storage models- 64GB and 128GB.
As far as the camera is concerned, Realme C15 may sport a quad-lens camera at the back. The camera system may comprises of a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera with f/2.25 aperture, 2MP retro sensor and 2MP mono camera with f/2.4 aperture.
It may run on Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI. The smartphone may offer an 8MP camera at the front with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. Further, the device will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery, as confirmed by the company.
