Realme X7 series 5G receives India BIS certification

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme recently confirmed that it will launch its all-new Realme X7 series of smartphones in India next year. Now, the Realme X7 with codename RMX2176 has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. This further confirms that the smartphone will launch in India soon. It is also expected that the company might launch the smartphone in January 2021.
With the launch of Realme X7 the company aims to offer 5G connectivity to more users and that too at an affordable price. Recently, the Realme X7 Pro 5G also received BIS certification. This means that the company is planning to launch both the smartphones together.
Realme X7 Pro 5G specifications
The Realme X7 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The device features a 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 1200 nits brightness and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The handset runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own Realme UI. Realme X7 Pro 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and offers super liner stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. Measuring 160.8×75.1×8.5mm, the smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W ultra-fast flash charging support.
Coming to the camera, the dual-SIM smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.25 aperture, 2MP retro portrait lens and 2MP 4cm macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front you will find a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
Realme X7 5G specifications
Realme X7 5G comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display is made scratch resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass. The device features super linear stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device comes in only one storage option of 128GB also there is no support for microSD card. It runs Android 10 operating system topped with Realme’s own UI.
The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup at the back which consist of a 64MP main sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP 4cm macro and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. In the front you will get a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.5 aperture. The handset houses a 4300mAh battery with 65W ultra-fast flash charging support.
