Samsung Galaxy M02 smartphone expected to launch in India soon

Samsung is expected to launch a budget M-series smartphone in India soon. The consumer electronics giant might soon launch the Galaxy M02 smartphone in India. The smartphone recently received BIS certification and now it appeared on the support page of Samsung’s India website.
The support page listing shows just the model number of the smartphone and it did not mention any other specs of the device. Some of the online reports also suggest that Samsung Galaxy M02 is the rebranded version of the recently launched Galaxy A02 smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy M02 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M02 is said to run Android 10 operating system topped with Samsung’s own layer custom UI. The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution.
The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset is likely to offer 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy M02 is expected to come with a triple rear camera with 13MP main sensor with LED flash and 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera. The handset is said to house a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with 15W adaptive fast charging support.
Recently, Samsung announced a temporary price cut of its three budget smartphones — Samsung Galaxy M01, Galaxy M01s and the Galaxy M11. The Samsung Galaxy M01 has got a price cut of Rs 500. Listed at Rs 7,999, the smartphone can now be bought at Rs 7,499. The 3GB RAM variant of Samsung Galaxy M01s has seen a price drop of Rs 1,000. Launched at Rs 9,999, the customers can purchase the smartphone at Rs 8,999. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy M11 has received a price drop of Rs 500 and it is now available at Rs 9,999. This is a temporary discount and it is available till November 30.
