NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung recently launched its big battery smartphone — Galaxy M51 in India. The device is now all set to go on sale for the first time in the country. Customers will be able to purchase the smartphone 12 pm onwards from Samsung.com and Amazon India website in Electric Blue and Celestial Black colour options. The Samsung Galaxy M51 comes in two variants — 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB priced at Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999. As part of the sale, Amazon is giving cashback of Rs 2,000 to HDFC Bank customers on the purchase of Samsung Galaxy M51.
Samsung Galaxy M51 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M51 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Infinity O display which is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The handset runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own One UI and comes with dual SIM functionality. As mentioned above, Samsung Galaxy M51 comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
Coming to the camera, the Samsung Galaxy M51 sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises a 64MP main sensor with LED flash, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes with reverse charging capability and comes with a 25W fast charger. The company claims that the smartphone can charge completely in less than 2 hours.
