Some Apple HomePod Mini users are facing Wi-Fi issues

Must read

If you are facing difficulties in connecting your new Apple HomePod Mini to your home Wi-Fi then know that you are not alone. Some Apple HomePod Mini users are complaining that the device automatically disconnects from the Wi-Fi network. As per a report by 9to5 Mac, after the Wi-Fi gets disconnected, Siri responds with an error message saying “I am having trouble connecting to the Internet.”
A user wrote on Apple’s support forum, “I am having issues with HomePod mini not connecting to the internet. My other HomePods have no issue when I ask a question etc. But when I ask one or both of the HomePod mini’s it says ” I am having trouble connecting to the internet. I followed the trouble shooting steps apple provides but it goes back to “I am having trouble connecting to the internet.” after a couple of hours. Then it is normal again.”

Another user took to Reddit to ask, “Is anyone else having issues with homepod mini not connecting to the internet? my other homepods have no issue when I ask a question etc. But when I ask a mini it says ” I am having trouble connecting to the internet.”
Apple is yet to comment on this issue and there seems to be no immediate fix for the issue.
The HomePod mini is the first smart speaker from the Cupertino-based tech giant in three years. HomePod mini has been priced at Rs 9,990 in India and comes in White and Space Grey colours.
As the name suggests, the HomePod mini is just 3.3 inches tall. HomePod mini is powered by the Apple S5 chip that optimises loudness, adjusts the dynamic range, and controls the movement of the driver and passive radiators in real time.
