Indian television brand, Vu has launched its flagship television called Vu Masterpiece TV in India. The new TV features a 85-inch Quantum Dot LED (QLED) 4K UHD screen with Dolby Vision HDR support and comes with a built-in soundbar. In addition to that, the TV can also be updated to an all-in-one video conferencing system, Meeting by Vu that includes a 4K resolution camera, a built-in Windows 10 PC running Intel core processor, wireless beamforming microphone and wireless keyboard with a built-in trackpad.
Vu Masterpiece TV: Price and availability
Vu Masterpiece TV is priced at Rs 3,50,000 and will be available for purchase across the retail stores.
Vu Masterpiece TV: Specifications
As already mentioned, Vu Masterpiece TV comes with an 85-inch QLED 4K UHD panel with 1000-nit peak brightness and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The UHD panel is a 10-bit DCI-P3 screen that claims to produce over 1 billion colours. The TV comes with custom designed LED backlit divided into 256 zones with local dimming technology. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz motion rate for smooth visuals.
As far as audio is concerned, the Masterpiece TV comes with a 50 watt built-in soundbar with Dolby MS12 and DTS Virtual X surround sound support. The soundbar has a total of 6 speakers — two subwoofers and 4 tweeters. The TV runs Android TV 9.0 operating system out-of-the-box and comes with support of all the major OTT services.
Another noticeable feature of the TV is its optional upgradability into Meeting by Vu — an all-in-one Windows 10-based video conferencing system, which will work with a variety of apps including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
