Xiaomi has announced an 80W Mi Wireless Charging technology today. As per the company, this technology is said to charge a 4000mAh battery by 10% in a minute and by 50% in 8 minutes and by 100% in 19 minutes.
Announcing the launch of the 80W wireless technology, the company in a blog post said, “The introduction of 80W Mi Wireless Charging Technology is expected to set a new benchmark not only in the area of wireless charging but in charging as a whole. Xiaomi has been spearheading this trend by recognizing the importance of battery life and faster charging for the future development of smartphones.”
Recently, the company launched a smartphone, Mi 10 Ultra, with support for 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The Mi 10 Ultra was launched in the company’s home country China in August at 5,299 Yuan in China which translates to around Rs 57,000 in India.
The device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It houses a 6.67-inch full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The device offers a quad camera setup where the primary sensor is a 48MP sensor and comes backed by a 4500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Xiaomi claimed that it takes 23 minutes to charge the handset completely.
